6-3-17 Fishing Report

Good fishing north of Ludington today. Most all of our bigger fish came on our wire divers.  Our biggest King today, 21lb. 5oz., came on a high wire diver out 200 ft. with a 10″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig and a DW Premium Strip. We took 3 of our bigger fish on that set up today. A 10″ Glow Blade Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Glow Blue Bubble Action Fly went 4 times on a low wire diver out 135. Our other high wire diver out 175 with a 10″ Net Minder Showtime Spin Doctor/Life Is Good DW Meat Rig took some nice Kings too. A 10″ White Slick Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/4th Of July Big Water Meat Rig out 125 on a low wire diver took a good King. We started out with spoons on our out downs, coppers & cores but all they were taking were small fish so we ended up taking all our spoons off so we wouldn’t have to kill anymore small Kings.  We  trolled between 110 & 170 feet of water. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods.
