We fished out deep southwest of Ludington again today. It was foggy, but not as bad as yesterday. We set up in 250 feet of water and put it on a 220 troll. Only had 4 rods in the water when a high Slide Diver out 125 with a regular size Bloody Nose took off. We boated a Laker and got the skunk out early. It went again but the fish got off. We boated another Laker on a 5 color core with a custom Super Slim and missed one on a 7 color core. We marked some fish around 100 to 130 feet of water so we put a 10″ Gold Spin Doctor/White Pink Dot Spin-N-Glo stacked with a mag UV Dreamweaver Beefeater down 120 on the chute rigger. We took a Trout and lost one on the Trout rig and took one on the stacker. We were doing 3.0 to 3.1 on our fish hawk probe, not your traditional Lake Trout speed. A 10 color core with a mag size Modified Carmel Dolphin went twice. We took a steelhead on a 5 color core with a Jerry Lee mini streak. We worked mostly between 350 and 550 feet of water. The fog lifted for a while and the Lake was beautiful.
