The full moon was shinning bright again this morning as we ran out a little south of Ludington. We set up in 95 feet of water and trolled north. We took a big Trout on a high wire diver ticking bottom with a 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Wonder Bread WhirlyGig. That rig went three more times and took a nice Steelheaad. Our other high diver an 8″ Chrome Spin Doctor/White Pink Dot Spin-N-Glo . It went several times too. We took another Steelhead on a mag DW Green Skinny Jeans on 200 copper. We took a smaller Trout on a 7.5 color core with a Yeck Red Laser with a White Back spoon. We hit another Steelhead on it. It made a big run and got off. The temp 75 feet down on our Fish Hawk was 42 when we set up. It had dropped to 39 degrees when we made our turn back south. After our first few bites the action slowed down. It was as slow as yesterday, but it was a slow pick all morning. Our old faithful low wire with an 8″ Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctor/Chrome Blue WhirlyGig only went twice all morning.
