Fished south again today. Our Fish Hawk was reading 47 degrees 50 feet down. Our port high wire diver with a 10″ White Crush Black Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig was trickling out in the dark when a big King hit it with a vengeance. We only had a couple rods in and we boated it. We had 2 more bites on that set up back 165 but didn’t get a good hook up on either one. Our 255 copper with a regular DW Two Face spoon went in the dark but the fish got off. The boat traffic was surprisingly heavy. We were trapped between 2 boats and couldn’t move in or out. We slowed way down and let the inside boat get far enough ahead of us so we could turn around and make an upwind troll. We trolled northwest for a while before we hit another fish. It was a nice King that hit a mag Fuzzy Bear Yellowtail spoon. We pulled 3 boards on our starboard side because the fish headed right for them and we didn’t want to get it tangled in our coppers. We got he fish. We had a hit on our starboard high wire with a 10″ White Crush Light Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. It zipped out some wire and was gone. It took some time before we finally hit another fish. We took a mature King on a low wire diver out 110 with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Green Mile Meat Rig. Our last fish was a Laker that took a Trout rig bouncing bottom on our chute rigger. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and pull our coppers and cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
