Fishing remains very good. We set up a little south of Ludington and trolled west. Our coppers were our best rods today. On our starboard side we started with a #3 Glow Black Ladderback plug on a 200 copper. After it took a fish, we swapped it out for a standard DW Rasta Goose. It took 3 Steelhead. Our 250 had a prototype DW spoon on it. It was a steady producer all morning and took our biggest King right at the end of our trip. Our 300 had a mag Fuzzy Bear Orange Slice and it went at least 4 times. On the port side our 175 and 225 coppers both had Broken Nose spoons on them. They both took fish. Our 275 with a standard DW UV Beefeater was our best copper on our port side. Very little diver action. Our port low wire #5 Deeper Diver out 90 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig was our best diver. It went 5 times. We took a few fish on our riggers. A pair of Super Slim Green Hulks down 55 went 3 times. We had the top bait free sliding. It was another beautiful day on the Big Lake. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
