We fished north today. We got off to a good start with 2 bites before we had 4 rods in the water. One on the chute rigger down 65 with a mag size DW EVM spoon and a regular EVM stacked above it. We lost that one , but caught a good size Coho on a Super Slim DW Green Skinny Jeans free sliding above a regular Green Skinny Jeans. It went a little south on our next fish. It was a big King that got hooked in the side of the head on the mag EVM on the chute rigger and it took 45 minutes to land. We lost a lot of prime time fishing fighting that fish, but the good news is we got it. We had 2 more Kings hooked that way. We got one and lost one right at the net. Our best diver rod was a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig out first 120 then 180 on a high wire diver. Only a couple board bites. We hit 2 fish on a 175 copper with a SS Blue Skinny Jeans. The pair of Green Skinny Jeans on our port out down was good with both the main bait and the slider taking hits. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on our copper rods and Morgan wire on our wire divers.

7/25/17 Fishing Report
We had the same crew from Ohio yesterday and today. We didn’t think the fish would be out front again this morning so we headed southwest and set up in 100 feet of water and trolled south. We didn’t get all our rods set when a 7.5 color core with a Super Slim Blue Skinny Jeans stared screaming out line. Then a high wire diver with an 8″ Chrome Mountain Dew Spin Doctor/Yellow Gasoline Dreamweaver Meat Rig took off. Both fish were big Kings. We caught most of our fish between 130 & 160 fow. Lots of spoon bites for us today. Super Slim Green Skinny Jeans, Git’er Done, UV Mixed Veggie, all went more than once on our coppers & cores. A 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig went 4 times on a high wire out 120. We had a low wire out 85 with an 8″ Chrome Killer Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Meat Rig take 5 bites. We had that same rig on a 200 copper and it took a nice King. There are a lot of Coho out there so we have been getting a lot of no show bites. Our crew did a great job landing the fish that hooked up. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on our copper rods & Morgan’s wire on our wire divers.
