We fished north of Ludington today, setting up in 120 feet of water. Surface temp was 50.1. It was 49.5 at 50 feet on our Fish Hawk. An out down set at 75 ft. with a mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snack stacked with a DW Shelly Snack 10 feet above the main bait was our first fish. The King took the mag main bait. That rod went 3 more times. Twice on the main bait and once on the stack. The other out down set at 60 went. The King took a Yeck Wart Frog free sliding. Port high wire with a mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snack out 150 took a King. We lost a big fish on the Port low wire diver out 100 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Our starboard high wire with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went twice out 135 and twice out 185. The chute rigger went twice down 90 with an 11″ White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Port 7.5 color core with a Yeck Double Orange Crush took a rip. Port 250 copper with a Super Slim Blue Spotted Dolphin went twice. It took our biggest fish this morning. Port 300 copper with a mag Fuzzy Bear Half Blue Jeans took a good King. We took a small King on a 10 color core with a Yeck Fireball. Starboard 275 copper with a mag Fuzzy Bear Soda went twice. Our north troll was the best. We only had a couple more bites on our southwest troll. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire. We pull our lead cores and coppers with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
