We set up in 130 feet of water south of the bath house. Boat traffic was heavy, but easier to deal with without the fog we had yesterday. The picture on our graph didn’t look good, so we were surprised when the chute rigger with an 11″ White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly down 80 fired. Port high wire diver out 150 with an 8″ Chrome Green Spot Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly out 150 hit and we were doubled up. We boated the King on the chute rigger and the port low wire diver out 150 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went. The chute went again at 80 and we were tripled up. Lady Luck was with us, and we boated all 3 Kings. Both the high and low wire divers each went 2 more times. We took a Lake Trout on the Starboard high wire diver out 165 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The chute rigger went one more time at 80 feet. We got out in deeper water and dropped the chute rigger to 200 ft. + and it took 2 Kings. We dropped the port out down to 150 feet and took a mature King on the 8″ Chrome Green Spotted Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. A little later in the morning it took another King down a little under 200 feet. A 350 copper went 3 times with a mag glow spoon and a 375 copper went once with the same mag glow spoon. We took small Kings 7.5 and 10 color cores with Yeck Fire Balls. We lost a small King on a low wire diver out 170 with an 8″ Chrome Frog Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The fins were deployed on all the Flip Fin Paddles. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire and pull our lead cores and coppers with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
