Fishing has been good the last three days in Ludington. On Thursday I fished in the afternoon with 2 friends. Yesterday and today we had a charter with a fun couple from Ohio.We fished south of Ludington all three trips setting up south of the Project and trolling south to just past the Bass Lake outlet. We were running F11 & F13 Rapalas on our clean bird rods and spoons on our 1 color cores and Slide Divers. Our best Rapala was an F11 Brown Trout. We caught several Browns and our biggest King yesterday on that bait. Today our first four bites were on Rapalas and later in the morning we took a King on an F11 Perch and another on a F11 Cold Steel. The rest of our catch came on spoons. We took a double, both nice Kings, off our Slide Divers. The low was set at 27 ft. with a regular DW Wrecking Ball and the other hit a Fuzzy Bear Yellowtail on a high slide Diver out 35 feet. Our best bait today was a Super Slim Magic Man on a 1 color core. It took 6 of our last 7 fish. Yesterday we had a Magnum Dreamweaver Frozen Veggie Take 2 Browns on a low Slide Diver out 23 feet. The majority of our trolling was done between 8 and 15 feet.
