Tough fishing continues in Ludington. We decided to fish offshore today in hopes of getting more action than we had yesterday inside fishing for kings. We ran out to the 54’s & 38’s and started a west troll. It was very foggy, we could not see our outside boards all day. Not sure if the fog slowed the bite or what, but we only had three bites all day. Three for three – two on meat rigs & one spoon bite. The king took a 10″ White Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Meat Rig out 150 on a high wire diver. The larger Lake Trout took an 8″ Chrome Kevorkian White Crush Spin Doctor/UV On Ice Big Water Meat Rig out 185 on a high wire and the other trout hit a Super Slim Sportsman spoon with an orange back on a three color core. We ran five boards on each side, two divers per side and three riggers all day, 17 rods, and only got three bites. We made it out as far as the 44’s west and when we pulled lines to head in we were 15 miles out. We covered a lot of water and changed a lot baits. Going to try up north on Wednesday
