We set up off the Bank this morning. The surface temp was 56.5 and our Fish Hawk probe temp was 46.4 down 45 feet. We got a late start. It was full daylight when we started setting lines. Our chute rigger down 70 fired right away with a pair of standard DW Soda spoons. It was a nice King. It put up quite a fight before we boated it. Our starboard out down set at 56 with DW Chilly Willie and a Super Slim Chilly Willie took a hit but it didn’t hook up. A fish hit a high Slide Diver out 150 with a 50 ft. lead with a Lance’s Two Face. That one didn’t hook up either. Our 2nd fish was a Steelhead that took a mag Dreamweaver Green Jeans on a 225 copper. We didn’t have another bite until we were north of the Point. A small Coho hit a Super Slim Orange Slice on a 7.5 color core. Just before we turned back south we took a nice King on our other Slide Diver out 150 on a Coyote. A Steelhead hit on the fast side of the boat in the middle of our turn on a 3 color core with an SS Double Orange Crush. That one got away. No more bites on the south troll so we put it on a 270 troll and headed out deep. We took 2 Steelhead out here. Both on 3 color cores. One on a SS Double Orange Crush and the other on a Yeck Double Orange Crush. It was slower today but the weather was beautiful and we did get fish. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
