Went north again today. Surface temp by the Point was 41 degrees so we kept heading north until the surface got a little warmer. We set right down on fish. First 3 rods in took fish but the were small. Talked to another boat fishing the same water and he was hitting bigger fish inside us. I turned east and the morning mayhem started. We only had a 2 person charter and had 4 kings on at the same time twice. After the first couple hours the action slowed way down for us. Our hot baits were a pair of Super Slim Super Breads 60 down on an out down, a pair of DW Blue Hulks 80 down on the chute rigger, a mag Green Skinny Jeans out 120 on a high wire diver and a Yeck Purple Ham on a 7.5 color core. We took a King 90 back on a low wire with an 8″ Scotty Blue Glow Spin Doctor/Green Mirage Fly and missed one on an 8″ Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble Action Fly out 150 on a high wire diver.
