7-20-15 Fishing Report

We headed back north this morning  setting up on the Bank. We had two wire diver bites that didn’t hook up and we weren’t seeing much on our screen so we headed out to deeper water. We took our first fish on a high wire diver with a 10″ White Green /home made Action Fly meat rig out 135. That rig went twice for us today. Our other high wire diver with a 10″ Mountain Dew Slick Spin Doctor/4th of July Big Water Meat Rig went 4 times.  Three times at 180 and once at 185. This is the same rig that was so hot for us all last week and never went once yesterday in the tournament. It picked a bad day to go cold for us. Anyway it was working good today. A 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend/Green Mile Big Water Rig went twice on a low wire out 90 and a 10″ White Green Hollo Slick Spin Doctor/Green Uv Big Water Rig went once at 110. Our 300 coppers were good to us today. One was a 10″ Chrome Killer Spin Doctor/Green UV Big Water Rig and the othr was a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/UV Mirage Dreamweaver Meat Rig. The Chrome Killer went twice and the White Slick went four times. The King pictured left weighed 18.8 lbs. and hit on that 10″ White Slick rig. A 8″ White Atomic Killer / Green Gasoline Dreamweaver Meat Rig went twice on a 200 copper. We never had a rigger bite. We are running a double tomorrow so we won’t have a report until Wednesday. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper on all our copper rods.
