Fishing report compliments of Capt. Adam Knudsen of Reel 2 Reel Outdoors.
Set up in 150 feet of water south of the Bath House and trolled north. Hit a big fish on an out down with a pair of spoons set at 75 in the dark. It was foul hooked and took a long time to get in. The morning bite was pretty much over by the time we boated the King. Continued north and picked at the fish. The waves and current pushed the boat in shallower than we wanted to be so we put it on a 310 out to 240 feet of water north of the Stick. We turned back south and stayed between 200 and 130 feet of water. The waves got pretty big but we had a hardy crew and ended up with some nice fish. A 175 copper with a #3 Silver Horde Pinkie went 3 times. A big white flasher with a Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on the chute rigger went once at 100 down and once 120 down. A low wire diver out 190 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor took a 22 lb. King. A high wire diver out 220 with an 8″ Chrome Killer Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water met rig went twice. Took a nice Steelie on a 225 copper with a #3 Green Splatter Back plug. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and pull our lead cores and Morgan’s Copper with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards
