We fished southwest of Ludington today setting up in 250 feet of water on a 240 troll. Took a nice Steelhead early on a 2 color core with a Yeck Fireball. Took a small Coho on it later in the morning. It was a little lumpy out there this morning. The waves were from the southwest. Our autopilot was holding and we trolled out to 510 feet of water before turning back north on a 60 course. The action was never hot and heavy but it was steady on both the out and in trolls. We missed a Steelhead and a Lake Trout on a low Slide Diver on a DW Super Bread out 85 with a 40 foot lead . We took a Laker on a high Slide Diver out 125 on a Super Slim Rasta Goose. The Rasta Goose was good for us on a 5 color core too. Our chute rigger down 75 with a mag Dreamweaver UV Beefeater stacked with a DW Green Skinny Jeans took 3 Lakers, 2 on the main bait and 1 on the stacker. We didn’t have any bites on our out downs with spoons so we put Trout rigs on them and sent them down deep. One was set at 150 and the other at 185. They both had 10″ Gold Spin Doctors/White Pink Dot Spin-N-Glos. The one at 185 went 3 times and the one down 150 went twice. We took fish on 2, 3, 5, & 9 color cores.
