After going southwest yesterday, and doing well, it was hard not to go back out there. However, we decided to head back to familiar territory up north. We set up south of Big Point in 140 feet of water. The water was warm, 53 degrees 85 ft. down on our Fish Hawk. We were all set up when a low wire diver out 170 with a mag Green Glow took off with a nice King. We just got it in the boat when a small King hit a mag Fuzzy Bear UV Blue Skinny Jeans 95 down on an out down. A big King hit mag Fuzzy Bear Yellowtail on a 225 copper. We boated another big King on a 325 copper with a mag Dreamweaver Blue Hulk and a small King on a regular DW Blue Hulk 110 down on the chute rigger. We took the spoons off the chute and put on a 10″ Lake Trout Candy Spin Doctor/Mountain Dew Whirly Gig and started bouncing bottom trying for Lakers. We took 2 on it. We took another Laker and lost a King on an 8″ White Crush Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly 175 out on a low wire diver. The low wire with the mag Green Glow took another 4 year old King. We took 2 of our smaller Kings on a 300 copper. No meat bites for us today.
