8-10-23 Fishing Report

We set up in 100 feet of water. It was 49 degrees down 50 feet. Almost all our rods were set when old faithful went. That’s a pair of standard Dreamweaver Green Hulks set at 65 on our starboard out down. The fish got away. A few minutes later it went again. The King took the free slider, and we got him. The chute rigger down 55 with a Captain’s Choice Glow Black Ladderback Plug took our biggest King. Our port out down set at 50 went twice with a pair of DW Green Hulks. Starboard high wire diver out 185 with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went twice. We lost 2 and boated 1 on a low wire Deeper Diver out 85 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. An 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly out 150 took a Coho on our port high wire diver. We had a rip on our port low wire Deeper Diver with a 10″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig out 100. The fish didn’t hook up. When we brought it in to reset it a Coho came up behind the boat and took a swipe at it. We didn’t get that one either. A Yeck Double Orange Crush went twice on a 5 color core and once on a 10 color core. A Double Orange Crush Super Slim went once on a 150 copper. We hit 2 fish on an 8″ Stud Spin Doctor/Liquid Sunshine Action Fly on a 250 copper. We hit 2 fish on a 325 copper with a mag spoon. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire. We pull our coppers and lead cores behind Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
