We fished north this morning setting up off the bank. We didn’t get in on the early bite. Our first fish came after daylight on the chute rigger down 100 with an 11″ White Crush DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. It was a small King. We took 2 more small fish and lost a fish on a 250 copper before we boated our first mature King.
It came on the chute rigger down 100 with the big White Paddle. We took another mature King on a 375 copper with a mag DW Green Spotted Dolphin.
We used a lot of different spoons, Paddles, Spin Doctors and meat rigs trying to get another fish to bite but it didn’t happen. There are a lot of big fish out there and we will be back out Thursday morning trying to catch some. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
