We set up in 110 feet of water. It was 57 degrees down 85 feet on our Fish Hawk. Most of our rods were set when our port out down set at 75 with a mag Green Hulk stacked with a standard Green Glow spoon went. It was a Coho and we boated it. The action this morning was very good. Like Tuesday it is hard to remember all our bites. Our hot rod was our starboard out down set at 85 with a pair of standard Dreamweaver Blue Hulks. They went at least 6 times. Every time it was on the main bait. Our port out downs at 75 then 90 was good too. Port high wire out 250 with an 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly went 3 times. Port low wire Deeper Diver out 180 with a 10″ White Crush Black Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig went a couple times early. We swapped it out for a 10″ Black Crush Spin Doctor/Black Gasoline DW Meat Rig, and it went 2 more times. Starboard low wire Deeper Diver out 175 with a 10″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Green Mile Meat Rig went twice. We took fish on a 250 copper with a Natural Glow DW Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. Our starboard 250 copper with a #3 Glow Black Ladderback Plug went twice. After the bite slowed, we put it on a southwest troll for deeper water. 300 & 375 coppers with mag Fuzzy Bear Shelly Snacks each went multiple times. A 400 copper with an 8″ UV Crush Wonder Bread Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble Action Fly took a King. We took fish on 350 & 325 coppers with mag spoons. Our hot rod out deep was an 8″ Green Dragon Slayer Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on an out down set at 85. The fin was deployed. Our port out down with a mag Green Hulk on a 2 color core down 100 went 3 times. Our chute rigger with an 11″ White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a DW Blue Hulk only went 1 time. We tried different depths and leads but the only bite came 125 down on the DW Blue Hulk stack. It was a big King pictured below. A lot more bites I can’t recall. Today was our most action-packed trip so far this year. Our crew was experienced and did a great job on the rods. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgans copper and wire. We pull our lead cores and coppers with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
