We fished south again today setting up in 175 feet of water. We didn’t have all our rods set when a King hit a high wire diver out 135 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. As soon as we boated the fish our starboard out down with a pair of Chilly Willys down 45 fired. We had a regular DW Chilly Willy on the bottom and a Super Slim free sliding above it. It was a fat Coho. The action slowed a little after our first 2 bites. We were trolling southwest. When we hit 200 feet we took another Coho on our port out down with a pair of regular DW Chilly Willys. We turned southeast toward our track from yesterday. We took it in to 165 feet without another bite. We turned out on a southwest troll. We hit a triple on the turn. Our 3 color core with a Super Slim Star Burst took off and didn’t want to stop. It almost spooled us. The fish eventually got off after a long fight. It was foul hooked. We took a Trout on the chute rigger near bottom with a 10″ Chrome Spin Doctor/Wonder Bread Spin-N-Glo and a King on a high wire diver out 125 with a 10″ White Black Dot Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig while we were fighting the foul hooked fish. We took 2 more Kings on that high diver . We took a Coho on the other high wire with a 10″ White Crush Green Scale Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat Rig. We took 5 fish on meat today. Our best rods were our out downs with the Chilly Willys, one at 45 & one at 55. We left them there all morning. No plug bites for us today. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and pull our coppers and cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
