We set up in 105 feet of water. It was 47 degrees down 50 feet. First rod to go was the chute rigger down 55 with a Glow Black Ladderback Captain’s Choice Cut Plug. It escaped. Next a high wire diver out 185 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend/Pickled Sunshine Dreamweaver Meat went. It escaped. Our starboard out down set at 65 with a pair of standard DW Green Hulks went. After a long fight it escaped. Starting to get a little frustrated when a 225 copper with a UV Bloody nose went. We got that one. Our port out down set at 75 took a hit but didn’t hook up. Port high wire out 190 with an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend/ Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig took a rip but no hook up. Our starboard low wire Deeper Diver out 85 with a 10″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig took a King. We boated a Lake Trout later in the trip on that same rig 85 down on the chute rigger. We took a King on a 7.5 color core with a Yeck Double Orange Crush. Our last two fish both came on high wire divers. One out 175 with an 8″ Dragon Slayer Spin Doctor/Green Mile Meat rig. The other on the 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend/Pickled Sunshine DW Meat Rig out 200. We had bites on 250, 300, & 350 coppers. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire. We pull our copper and lead cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
