We fished north today setting up in 100 feet of water south of the Point. Our graph was showing bait and fish but we didn’t hit our first fish until we were north of the stick. It was the King pictured above. It hit a 10″ Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble Dreamweaver Meat Rig 155 out on a high wire diver. While we were fighting it a low wire took a hit out 110 with a 10″ Glow Blade Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Blue Bubble DW Meat Rig. The fish hit and was gone. We moved in to 90 feet and hit a fish on a black glow spoon stacked 10 ft. above a big White Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly 80 down on the chute rigger. After putting up a good fight it got off when it surfaced. That was our last bite for a long time. We kept on a north troll working out to 225 feet and back in to 100. We took a small King on a DW Green Skinny Jeans 75 down on an out down and near the end of the trip took a big Coho on an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly on a 400 copper. The further north we went the down temp was colder. It was 62 degrees 70 down on our Fish Hawk when we started and was 46 when we pulled lines. Tough day on the Lake today for us. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and pull our lead core and Morgan’s Tackle copper with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
