We set up north today in 85 feet of water in front of the Bath House. It was 55 degrees down 65 feet. We just finished setting rods when we hit a fish on a 10 color core with a plug. It turned out to be a 3 year old King. I had warned our clients about the lack of fish so we felt lucky to have a fish in the box. We marked very few fish on the south side of the Point . Once we hit the 04’s we started marking big mounds of bait, not many fish but lots of bait. We marked bait out to 260 feet of water. We had a bite on a Super Slim Chilly Willy free sliding above a DW Chilly Willy down 65 on an out down. It was on for a minute but got away. Our third a final bite came on an out down set at 80 feet with a DW Spotted Dolphin. It is very discouraging to see all the bait and very few fish. Waves up to 7 feet are predicted for tomorrow and Wednesday doesn’t look much better. All the wind we’ve been having hasn’t helped the fishing . Hoping things improve by the end of the week. We pull our coppers and cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
