We fished north today setting up in 115 ft. of water between the Bath House and Point. The water was warm, 62 degrees down 100 feet on our Fish Hawk. We weren’t really ready for that. We put it on a northwest troll. We started marking bait and a few fish near the bottom in 175 feet of water. The temp 120 feet down was 58 degrees. We broke out our 400, 450 and 550 coppers. We tried many different baits and flasher fly combos and nothing worked. We had 3 bites all morning and landed 2 fish, both Lake Trout, all on the same rod. It was our chute rigger with a Trout rig fished on or near the bottom. Our bites came in 180, 200 & 220 feet of water. We fished out to 400 feet north of the Point and back in to 175 south of the Point. Hopefully the north wind will cool the water down. We pull our coppers and cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
