9-6-22 Fishing Report

We didn’t get our first bite until 7:16 this morning up north. It came on a high wire #4 Deeper Diver out 210 on an 8″ Kevin’s Girlfriend Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We ended up with a nice catch. Never hot and heavy, but we did have two doubles. We took fish on a high wire #4 Deeper Diver out 225 with a 8″ Black Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Our port low wire #5 Deeper Diver out 110 with a 8″ White Slick Spin Doctor/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly took a big King. Our starboard low wire Deeper Diver out 125 with a Stud Flip Fin DW Paddle/Green Gasoline DW Meat Rig fired with a big fish that turned out to be foul hooked. After a long fight with both bags in and working in and out of gear, the hooks puled about 30 ft. behind the boat. A 225 copper with a Broken Nose spoon went twice. The Lake was calm, and the fish were biting. What more could you want on a trip out of Ludington? We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire.
