We set up in 70 feet of water. Surface temp was 62. It was 54 down 50 feet on our Fish Hawk. The picture looked good on our graph. Lots of bait and some fish. All our rods were set, and it was full daylight before we had our first bites. We hit a double in 100 feet of water. A King took a Yeck Double Orange Crush on a 5 color core and a big fish took a high wire diver out 150 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. We lost the fish on the diver and boated a mature King on the 5 color. We took a mature King on our other high wire diver out 170 with an 8″ White Crush Two Face Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. The fins were not deployed on either one. We took a Coho on an out down set at 75 with a standard DW Beefeater and a UV DW Beefeater free sliding above it. The fish took the free slider. We threw back a small Coho that took a small orange glow spoon on a 7.5 color core. We took a King and lost a fish on a 150 copper with a Gold Yeck Fireball. We took a mature King on a 10 color core with a mag black glow spoon and we lost a fish on a 250 copper with a Green Hulk. It was a little bumpy and a little cold, but our crew held up well. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire. We pull our lead cores and coppers with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
