We fished north today setting up in 120 feet of water south of the Bath House. Surface temp was 57 degrees and 54.8 down 60 feet on our Fish Hawk. We set our riggers first and while our divers were going out all 3 riggers went. The chute at 85 with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly stacked with a SS Half Green Jeans was first. The fish took the stack 20 feet above the main bait. Port out down set at 60 with a pair of SS Half Green Jeans was next. Fish took the stack 15 feet above the main bait. Starboard out down set at 70 went with a pair of SS Soda’s. The top bait was free sliding, and the fish took the free slider. That combo went 4 times, and every bite was on the free slider. A high wire diver out 220 with a DW Half Green Jeans took a King. That was our only diver bite. We took a nice Steelhead on a 7.5 color core with a orange glow spoon.
A 250 copper with a SS Super Glow Alewife took a fish.
Our 275 copper with a SS Soda and 300 copper with the same bait both took fish. The waves were out of the west and building all morning. It made it tough to do a north south troll. Our crew hung in there and we finished out the trip.
We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire and pull our coppers and lead cores with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.

It went 4 more times. Our starboard high wire diver out 125 with a SS Super Glow Alewife took a fish. A 175 copper with a SS Shelly Snack went twice. Port out down went once at 90 feet with a pair of SS Half Green Jeans. The fish took the rubber band stack 20 feet above the main bait.
Our biggest King came on the chute rigger with an 8″ White Slick Flip Fin Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly. Fin was not deployed. A 300 copper went twice with a Yeck M&M Glow. A storm moved in during the trip. Heavy rain at times. Our crew toughed it out. We turned back south about 4 miles north of the Point. On the south troll the sky cleared and the action slowed. We only hit a couple fish on the south troll. We use Morgan’s Tackle copper and wire and pull our coppers and wires with Dreamweaver Ninja Boards.
