Today is the first trip we’ve ran since our last report. Fishing is improving and some big Kings are being caught. The King pictured bellow weighed 24.10 lbs. It came on a low wire diver with a 10″ Black Crush Spin Doctor/Froggie Big Water Meat Rig and Erie Dearie Meat. The other three big Kings came on 10″ Spin Doctors/Big Water Meat Rigs and they were all baited with Erie Dearie Meat. The Ludington Offshore Classic is coming up this week. The tournament kicks off with Ruboy Thursday on the 18th. The Bud Lite Ladies Classic and the West Shore Bank Youth Tournament is being held on Friday the 19th. The Offshore Classic Pro/Am and the Fish Hawk Big Fish Tournament are running on the 20th & 21st. The Ludington & Scottville Chamber and the tournament committee do a great job putting this event on. We are fishing in all the events except the Youth Tournament. I will continue the reports after the tournament.
