Fished north today. The down temp on our Fish Hawk was 49 degrees at 100 ft. Hevey boat traffic on the shelf. We hit a few fish early on the north troll, but the south troll was brutal. We took a Steelhead on a 200 copper with a standard DW Rasta Goose. We took a small King on it later in the morning. We caught a Master Angler 22 inch Cisco or Lake Hering on a 7.5 color core with a Yeck Double Orange Crush. Mostly spoon bites for us on our coppers and riggers. We use Dreamweaver Premium Strips in all our meat rigs and Morgans copper and wire.

Today we fished in the Ladies Tournament. We hit 2 fish early landing one of them. The fish we boated came on a small 8″ White Slick Flip Fin DW Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly down 85 on an out down . We took another on an 11″ White Slick Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly 70 down on the chute rigger. It was slow going after that. We had 8 bites and boated 3 fish. The fished we missed either hit and were gone or were on a a minute and also were gone. We had a fun crew that held up well in the rough conditions and look forward to fishing with them again next year.
